Introduction
The IAR Systems J-Link-KS USB-driven JTAG interface for ARM is a 3rd-party development tool used in combination with the following kits:
It is available in bundled versions of the kits above and also separately from select distributors.
IAR Systems J-Link is a small USB-to-JTAG conversion box designed for ARM cores.
It connects via USB to the PC host running Windows.
J-Link integrates seamlessly into the IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM® and is fully plug-and-play compatible.
- Supports ARM7 including Thumb mode
- Download speeds of up to 50KB/sec
- No power supply required—powered through USB
- Maximum JTAG speed of 8MHz
- Auto speed recognition
- All JTAG signals can be monitored; target voltage can be measured
- 20-pin standard JTAG connector
- USB and 20-pin flat cable included
- Requires Microsoft Windows 2000 or Windows XP
